About us is really about me. My Name is John I live in the West midlands and I was Born in England. I am now 48 years old and pretty fed up with goes on in this country. Having just become bankrupt and only able to find a part time job (that pays next to nothing) I started to wonder where did it all go wrong.........after speaking and listening to all sorts of people from all walks of life it occurred to me that England is pretty much stuffed.
The Land of Opportunity is no longer. Unless of course you want to live of the state!
Any way one night I was having a chat (or heated argument) about England with some friends, and boy did we open a can of worms! By the end of the night we had put the country to rights (as you do!) and left it at that.
The next day I was reflecting on the nights discussion and it occurred to me that I really did not understand why things have become so bad in England......why do we have to pay so much Tax? Why do we pay so much for Fuel, Food, Electric, Gas, Road Tax, Insurance and so on. Pretty soon I was talking to everybody about our “England” and you know what.........we all have something to say! And to be honest it was mostly moans of despair and complaints and disbelief in what is going on around us. With no one listening or taking notice.
That got me thinking, what if there was a place where anybody and everybody could voice their opinions, with full freedom of speach...say what you want about what you want.
So England's Voice was born, now I aint the worlds brightest person, just an average bloke so there will be spelling and grammar mistakes and I am not some kind of web guru so the site will be rough and ready. But hay if you want to add your voice this is the place to do it. And who knows if enough voices speak they might make a difference.
